  16.    *  the beginning of the file, press ENTER, since the
  17.    *  default value is 1. To view records further into file,
  18.    *  key an approximate byte number.  To view the last few
  19.    *  records, key in a number slightly less than the file
  20.    *  size. If you do not start at the beginning of the file,
  21.    *  the first record displayed most likely will not be on a
  22.    *  full record boundary. However, all subsequent records
  23.    *  displayed will be full record displays.

  40.    *  number of characters for each record. This is
  41.    *  important in order to find the "implied" number of
  42.    *  characters in a record which does not have normal line
  43.    *  endings such as cr, lf, cr-lf. If your file does indeed
  44.    *  have normal line ending codes, usually you would not
  45.    *  use deblocking, but you may. In order to deblock a
  46.    *  file, you need to specify the implied Record Length.

  48.    *       N=No  -- Do NOT use deblocking, use line endings
